The Deathly Hollows

Lastnight McCartney and I went to see Harry Potter 7 part 1. We had such a great time! It was so wonderful spending time with just McCartney. I feel bad because we are always so busy with Journey's things and my busy life that I don't get a lot of time to spend with just McCartney. He is such a great kid and he rarely complains about being at the dance studio every night or running Journey everywhere she needs to be so I decided to take him on a little date (he gets so mad when I call it that). We had such a fun time and the movie was FABULOUS!!! Mac I'm so proud of you. You are such a smart, talented, sweet boy and I love you dearly! Thanks for the date... November 29, 2008 - Nutcracker Opening Night

A very proud moment for me as I watched my daughter, Journey grace the stage of Ballet West's The Nutcracker, For the first time in six years, the mention of dance didn't send a dreadful feeling up my spine and into the usual mind numbing headache. Tonight there was no drama, no competition between dance moms and my daughter wasn't wearing enough makeup to paint the house several times over. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire production. The symphony, the sets, the vivid costumes and characters were all incredible. I have never been to the ballet in my life and probably never would have had it not been for Journey's role in it all. We were happy to have friends and family there who enjoyed it just as much as we did. - Daddy
